DAY 1: KIGALI - BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be welcomed and briefed by your driver and begin the 4-5 hour drive north to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You are also free to have a night in Kigali upon arrival for relaxation and then start this safari the next day.

Your drive will take you through beautiful mountain valleys and terraced farms, along your journey, you will cross the border at Katuna, entering Uganda driving through the rolling hills of Kisoro arriving at your accommodation on time for check in and lunch. You may have an optional activity later in the afternoon(Community walk and cultural experience with the Batwa people).

DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING BWINDI IMPENETRABLE PARK

After an early breakfast at your hotel, with your packed lunch you will proceed directly to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park's headquarters. After completing the briefing by the park officials about the code of conduct in the forest, you will embark on the once-in-a-lifetime experience of tracking the mountain gorillas.

One of the most memorable experiences you are likely to ever have, you will be allowed an hour of close contact with the gorillas once you find them. You will be privileged enough to come within mere meters of a family of these rare and beautiful animals, observing their family dynamics and getting to learn about each gorilla's distinct personality after completing this trek, you will be given a certificate for completing a gorilla trek successfully in Uganda. later drive back to lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 3: TRANSFER FROM BWINDI - KIGALI CITY TOUR

You will have your breakfast and then drive back to Kigali with a city tour including the Genocide Memorial, the Presidential Palace Museum, and the local craft markets. thereby having lunch and driving back to your hotel/Airport to catch your flight back home.
