This 7-day tour will take you to bwindi impenetrable national park that is covered with the great apes but also several scenic trails and a diverse number of species of mammals like chimpanzees, butterflies, amazing bird species, species of geckos, chameleons, and lots of unique flora such as vines, mahogany, ferns, and bamboo plant species to see, tracking in Mgahinga national park the only park where golden monkeys exist. This tour will further take you for a wildlife adventure in Queen Elizabeth National park where you will see over 6 lions hanging on the fig trees in Isasha sector making it an experience of a lifetime, you will view other several wildlife species in the park like elephants, Antelopes, Buffaloes, kobs, leopards, warthogs, among many others. Enjoy a second game drive and Launch cruise in Queen that will get you closer to the wild animals. This tour will end with a visit to Kibale National Park the best safari destination for Chimpanzee trekking with a Guided swamp walk in Bigodi.

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our Twist African Safaris tour guide who will have a chart bearing your name. He will welcome you and take you through a short briefing about your tour then drive you to your booked accommodation in Kampala for relaxation.
DAY 1: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
After your early morning breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your first stop will be at the Equator Monument in Kayabwe where the earth is divided into the northern and southern hemispheres. At this very point, a water experiment is also carried out to furthermore explain the geographical discovery of the Uganda Equator.
Take memory pictures, you may also opt to look into African shops selling crafts. Later proceed to Igongo Cultural Centre for an hour’s lunch break with a tour around Igongo Museum which is armed with an illustrious history of the western cultures and the ancient life of the Ankole kings. After this activity, you will continue on the drive to Bwindi park arriving in the evening for check in, dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: GORILLA Trekking/ HABITUATION EXPERIENCE BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Wake up for a heavy breakfast, meet the guide with your packed lunch and water you will drive to the park head- quarters for a short briefing by the park officials about the gorilla habituation experience. You will then start off the hike to habituate mountain gorillas. Once you come face to face with a gorilla group you will spend 4 hours training it to get used with human presence or spend 1 hour with viewing gorillas incase you choose to do a gorilla trek. This whole experience may take up a full day depending on the length of the gorilla trek. Head back to the head- quarters where you will meet your guide to transfer back to the lodge for relaxation dinner and an overstay.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK AND AFTERNOON GOLDEN MONKEY TRACKING
Have breakfast meet the guide and transfer Mgahinga National park to your booked accommodation. You will have lunch at the lodge then set off for the golden monkey tracking. The monkeys are primarily found in the bamboo forest that skirt the lower slopes of the volcanoes. This activity will not take more than 3 hours, later head back to the lodge for relaxation. In the late afternoon you may choose to have an optional guided community tour to visit the Batwa people who lived in the Bwindi forest, they will take you through their culture through their amazing songs, dances with different cultural activities ie to make fire out of wood. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH VIA ISHASHA SECTOR FOR TREE-CLIMBING LIONS.
After your morning breakfast you will check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National park via Isasha sector, you will encounter several kobs on the drive towards the park. View the famous tree-climbing lions a behavior that these big cats only have in a few places. On a search for tree-climbing lions, expect to see over 4-6 lions climbing and hanging on the fig trees. You are likely to view several buffaloes, elephants, topis and more. With a lot being seen in this sector you will drive to your booked accomodation for lunch, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON LAUNCH CRUISE
After an early morning breakfast by sunrise you will drive to the park entrance. This second game drive will increase the possibility of animal count in the park. This drive through the park will give you a chance to spot more wild life species in the park like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, warthogs, hyenas, water buck, lions among others.
Drive back to the lodge for lunch, after lunch you will take 2 hours Launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. This experience is spectacular as it gives you a chance to see a high concentration of Hippos and Crocodiles in water while elephants, waterbucks and buffaloes grazing on the banks of the channel as well as an array of birdlife including; the kingfishers, Egyptian fish eagle saddle billed stork, among others. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK – CHIMPANZEE TREKKING- BIGODI SWAMP TOUR’
Have a leisurely breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on your journey to Kibale national park which is a primate destination and a home to over 1400 chimpanzees. Upon reaching the park you will drive to your booked accommodation for lunch and transfer to the briefing point where you will be taken through the code of conduct in the forest, you will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community to trek with the lead of your ranger guide on the search of chimps.
The experience in memorable as you will listen to the sounds / noises of the chimpanzees in the forest, watch them in their natural habitat as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest. You will explore the Bigodi swamp area on a guided walk. This visit is filled with spectacular birds like the Great Blue Turaco, lots of butterflies, plants and animals like different monkeys, Bush bucks, antelopes etc. After this experience you will take a village walk that will lead you for a coffee experience, banana beer making, among others. Later drive back to your accommodation for relaxation and dinner

DAY 7: TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA

Upon your arrival in Kampala you will be driven to your booked hotel/ Airport to catch you flight back home.
