On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Our Twist African safari guides will welcome you to Uganda. They will have a chart bearing your group name for easy recognition then walk to the safari car for a short briefing about Uganda and your safari later drive to your booked accommodation in Kampala for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK- AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE.

Early in the morning after your breakfast, our driver and tour guides will pick you up from your hotel to start the adventure with a visit to lake Mburo National park.

You will be driven through small towns with a first stop over at the Equator Monument in Kayabwe for photography where the earth is divided into the Northern and Southern hemispheres. At this very point a water experiment will be carried out to explain the geographical discovery of the Uganda Equator. While here, you may opt to look into some African shops selling crafts and art pieces. Later after this activity, you will proceed to the park arriving at your booked accommodation for check in to your specific rooms and lunch.

After your lunch you will have a 2 hours boat cruise that will give you an opportunity to see lots of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and antelopes as they gather up here to drink some water, different bird species such as the African fish eagle among others. After the boat cruise you will head back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: BICYCLE TOUR LAKE MBURO - HORSE RIDING ADVENTURE.

After your early morning breakfast, you will go have a guided nature walk in Lake mburo national park and later a bicycle/cycling tour that will take one hour as you ride with in the park and around the park passing through several mammals to include Zebras, Buffaloes, antelopes among others later after this activity you will return to the lodge for relaxation.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After an early morning breakfast, depart for Bwindi National park where you will make your first stop at Igongo cultural center for a tour around Igongo museum which is armed with illustrious history of the western cultures and the ancient life of the Ankole kings. After this activity, you will proceed on the drive, your next stop will be in Kabale for Lunch and later continue to Bwindi arriving in the late afternoon for check in, dinner and overnight. Travel time: 5 to 6 hours

DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING - TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI

After an early morning breakfast you will proceed to the park head-quarters with your packed lunch where you will be briefed about the code of conduct while visiting the forest, There after you will be led by well armed park rangers in to the forest to start the trek. This excursion takes between 2 to 7 hours to encounter a habituated gorilla family. You will be allowed to be with the gorillas for one hour once you come to meet them as you enjoy watching them feed, play from one tree branch to the other while taking memory pictures.

Besides seeing gorillas, you will see different bird species, golden monkeys, forest elephants in the forest, have your picnic lunch and then head back to the park head quarters where you will be given a certificate of completing a gorilla trek in Uganda- Bwindi. You will then drive back to the lodge to freshen, check out and drive to Lake Bunyonyi. On arriving at the beautiful Lake you will check in at your hotel and take on a boat ride to visit the 27 islands while learning about their history and later return to lodge for relaxation with views of the lake, dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA.

Waking up to the soothing breezes of the beautiful lake, your breakfast will be served with out any panic you will have some leisure time at the lodge before you set off for Kampala. Later check out and drive back to Kampala with a stop for lunch in Mbarara and then proceed to your booked accommodation in Kampala.

DAY 6: KAMPALA CITY TOUR

After an early morning breakfast, you will meet our guide and take a tour through the capital city of Uganda. This tour will take you to Bahai Temple which is the only standing temple in Africa, Buganda Kingdom, you will go sight seeing the different commercial buildings around the city to say the parliament, visit the craft market etc.

You will later have have lunch and Later you will drive back to the hotel for relaxation dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: DRIVE TO JINJA – WHITE WATER RAFTING EXPERIENCE.

After an early morning breakfast, you will meet our guide and start the drive to jinja which is famous for the historical attraction the source of the Nile. On this journey you will see many attractions such as Mabira forest Uganda’s largest rain forest. Meet up with the rafting team in Jinja, attend a briefing session after which you will drive to the starting point where you will take a brief lesson about the rafting experience. This adventure lasts between 1 to 3 hours and it is always celebrated a drink. Later drive to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight in Jinja.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO SIPI FALLS HIKING ADVENTURE

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and embark on your journey to Sipi falls. You will drive to your booked accommodation, have lunch and then meet your local guide at Sipi falls who will take you to the starting point of the falls. You will have a short hike to the waterfalls. The experience when you get to the falls is very rewarding, take memory pictures, you will have a cave adventure and then head back to the lodge.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE – BOAT CRUISE – AIRPORT

You will wake up, have your breakfast and start your drive back to Kampala. You will a stop on your journey for lunch and then reach Entebbe in the late afternoon where you will take on a 2 hours sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria to end your safari. After this activity you will drive to the Airport to catch your flight back home.
