This tour will take you exploring Kenya’s wildlife, landscape, culture ending with a relaxation at the beaches of Kenya in Diani. Masai Mara National Reserve is popularly known, boasts for sheltering various wild animals like the lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and other animals that annually migrate to and from Tanzania to the Masai Mara like the Gazelles, wildebeest and zebras and many more. On this 8 days Masai Mara adventure, you are likely to view the big 5 during the different Game drives and other experiences to include a cultural tour to Masai village.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to hotel – Visit Giraffe centre

DAY 1: TANSFER TO MASAI MARA AND GAME DRIVE.  

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by our safari guides who will be having a chart bearing your group name. Drive to Nairobi to your booked accommodation for a short relaxtion. Depending on your arrival time, you opt to have a short tour at the Giraffe centre and manor. Arrive at the sanctuary where you will be given a chance to feed the giraffes as you hug them and take close up memory pictures with the gentle giants. After enjoying this activity you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO MASAI MARA VIA GREAT RIFT VALLEY – AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE.

After an early morning breakfast by 7:00am, you will check out of the hotel to meet your guides and transfer to Masai Mara National reserve. Enjoy a 5 hour’s drive through scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Rift Valley. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for photography and sight seeing. At this very point you may choose to visit the African shops to buy some crafts shortly after which you will continue on the journey to Narok Town for re-fueling and lunch then continue to the main destination. Driving towards the park is filled with lots of wildlife views like Zebras, monkeys, giraffes, Warthogs, Gazelles, along the journey. Upon arrival at your accommodation you will check in to your specific rooms and refresh then drive to the park entrance to start your adventure. Expect to see various wildlife species to include elephants, hippopotamus, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes among many others on this First game drive. Return to lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE – MASAI VILLAGE TOUR.

Have an early morning breakfast and leave the camp by 6:00 am with your packed lunches. This is a maiden day to explore Masai Mara Game Reserve on a morning and afternoon game drive in search for Africa's Big Five and the wide array of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets that make for spectacular photos.

Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara Park you will see plenty of wildlife, such as giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal, Cheetahs and leopards. You will have your picnic lunch and explore other areas of the park and the Mara Triangle up to the Mara Bridge, which is at the border of Tanzania just next to the famous Serengeti National Park. The driver will make a few stops along the banks of the scenic Mara River as to allow you to stretch your legs during your game drive. Later in the evening you will have a 1 hour’s snug picnic lunch break and enjoy more of this park. Later you will have a guided community tour at the Masai village and experience the stable pastoral culture of the oldest inhabitants of East Africa, the Masai. You will be fascinated by the men who stand tall and are proud of their culture. 

The Masai women are bejeweled with bright beaded earrings and adorned with the brilliant red, blue and purple patterns of the shukas and scarves they wear. This will all be a 1 hour’s activity full with Traditional songs, dances and cultural practices. Later return back to the lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO NAIVASHA – BOAT RIDE.

After your early morning breakfast, check out from the camp in Masai Mara with an exit game drive as you proceed for Lake Naivasha, you will arrive accommodation in Naivasha just in time for lunch. After lunch, you will take a boat ride to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamus. Tour shall be followed by a visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas, Grants Gazelles, Common Waterbucks and Buffaloes. After this adventure, you will return back to the boat as you enjoy a sunset cruise riding back to the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK – FLY TO MOMBASA.

After breakfast transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park for a bicycle ride experience in the wilderness of Hell’s Gate National Park . You can also opt to walk or ride in the car. Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya that can be explored by foot or cycle. The wildlife to view include Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas, Grants Gazelles, Warthogs and Buffaloes. A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebras and Giraffes is a beautiful experience. After collecting half day memories we head to the Hell’s Gate Gorge where our guide will take you through the stories of the gorge as you trek the mighty gorge. After trekking the gorge you will head back to Nairobi with a lunch en route to Wilson airport to catch your flight to Mombasa to your booked accommodation.

DAY 6: FULL DAY RELAXATION AND CITY TOUR MOMBASA.

You will have a leisurely breakfast and enjoy the beach. Later after lunch you will have a half day City tour will immerse you in the international history and flavors of this culturally rich city. With its Arabic, Portuguese and Swahili cultures, Mombasa offers busy markets, ethnic neighborhoods and a distinctive heritage to explore not forgetting to take in the ancient structure of Fort Jesus with its incredible history. After the city tour you will return to beach Hotel for evening relaxation at the beach.

Optional Activities: Cruise on a dhow, swimming with Dolphins kite surfing, sailing, diving, water-skiing, snorkeling and windsurfing.

DAY 7: FULL DAY RELAXATION AT THE BEACH HOTEL.

Have breakfast, you will spend this day enjoying the daylight and the warm Indian Sea at a shoreline resort close.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO NAIROBI.

You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to the Airport to catch your flight to Nairobi. Pick up and drive to your booked hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight back home.
