  • DAY 1: TRANSFER TO MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE FROM NAIROBI

    Early morning after breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your booked accommodation/ Air Bnb.You will then embark on a 5 hour’s drive to Masai Mara National Reserve through scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Rift Valley. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for photography shorty after which you will continue the journey to the park.

    Upon your arrival to the Park, you will check in accommodation just in time for lunch. After the refreshment, you will then head out for an evening game drive, expect to see various wildlife species to include: giant elephants, hippopotamus, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes among others.     DAY 2: FULL DAY MASAI MARA RESERVE

    Early morning after your breakfast You will embark on two game drives in the Mara: morning game drive and the afternoon game drive in search of the big five and other wildlife species to include: Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, Wildebeest, buffaloes, zebras, jackals, spotted hyenas, topi, impala, Hartebeests, nat eared foxes, the crocodiles and hippopotamus of the Mara and Talek Rivers.

    During the period of (July to October) you should brace yourselves to witness the thrilling Great wildebeest Migration as it happens in the Mara. August has always classically been the month which sees the first of the mega Mara River crossings. It is another big movement month for the herds, as many are lingering around the Mara River to make their way north in search of greener pastures. If the herds have made it then August is a fantastic time to see the migration.

    To Note: There is an optional cultural visit to the Masaai tribe community within the park; this visit grants you a chance to learn about the Masaai culture, customs, ways of living and their exercising cultural dance. Game viewing in Masai Mara Kenya can also be enhanced with a hot air ballooning Experience, this can be arranged at an extra cost. After gathering full day memories, you will transfer to our accommodation for dinner and overnight.

    DAY 3: MORNING GAME DRIVE - FLIGHT TO ENTEBBE, UGANDA

    Enjoy your last cup of coffee in Masai Mara before you check out of accommodation to embark on an enroute game drive as you continue your journey to Nairobi. Upon your arrival to the city, you will have your lunch shortly after which you will transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Entebbe, Uganda or may choose to travel by car to Uganda inorder to enjoy this adventure. Our guide will warmly welcome you to Uganda upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport then transfer you to accommodation in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.

    DAY 4: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

    Waking up early to a warming breakfast, you will be picked by our expert guide then be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park. The 6 hours’ drive takes you through Kampala city suburbs with a stopover at the Equator line in Kayabwe for a photo moment and geographical experiments on how water swirls in opposite directions in the Northern and Southern hemispheres at the Equator line. You will then continue to journey through magnificent views of terraced hills blended with gently sloping valleys of western Uganda. You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park late afternoon to check in accommodation for dinner and overnight.

    DAY 5: BWINDI GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE

    This is the day with major highlight of your 6 days Masai Mara and Gorilla Trekking Safari. Upon waking up early to a warming breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park headquarters for your pretrek briefing. You will be grouped in groups of 8 people then embark on a trek in search of the mountain gorillas of Africa. Endeavor to show up physically fit for this thrilling adventure to the thick jungle of Bwindi.

    Upon finding the mountain gorilla, you will be allowed upto an hour with the gentle lads. However some visitors always want more time with the gorillas and that so, we can prepare an extended visit to the mountain gorillas called gorilla habituation. The package offer visitors a maximum of 5 hours with the gorillas and can be arranged on request at an extra cost. After the magical experience, you will return to accommodation for refreshment and later on in the even there is an optional community visit to Batwa people of the Forest.

    DAY 6: TRANSFER/DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA OR ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

    After a beautiful night in the foothills of the gorilla land, you embark on the road drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight. You will have lunch en route and can purchase any craft materials at several souvenir shops along the way to always remind you of your Bwindi gorilla trekking safari. Our guide will transfer you to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
